IMS provides mailing and printing services to utilities, city, state, and county governmental agencies, healthcare providers, industry and manufacturing, credit unions and banks. IMS also provides offset printing services, producing forms, envelopes, newsletters, and other items that require color printing.

IMS employs a variety of printers including inkjets and lasers printer. Our printers produce items ranging from black and white through full color. The fastest production equipment can print 28,000 pages per hour producing 56,000 full-color images while cutting and finishing the printed items as required. Most items are printed from rolls of paper that range in weight from 18 lbs. to 110 lbs. This more cost-efficient method of printing are savings that we pass onto you.

The IMS CASS & PAVE, NCOA, and Intelligent Mail Bar Code services use mail automation software to provide the lowest postage rates offered by the USPS. In addition to using stringent quality control measures to ensure that all mail is accounted for, IMS provides Mail Verification services at no additional cost made possible through the use of 2D Bar Codes. All mail pieces are accounted for at multiple points in the printing, folding, inserting and mailing processes.

Print data is received quickly over dual high Internet connections and we encourage data encryption and FTP transmission. After printing, IMS can archive the print images in a PDF, XML, HTM or a COLD/ERM format. Using a free viewer, you can then view and reprint what was printed.

USPS DETACHED MAIL UNIT

The USPS established a Detached Mail Unit at IMS, which is staffed and operated by USPS personnel. The USPS personnel inspect all mail daily to ensure that it meets all USPS mailing requirements. After the mail is inspected it is cleared directly from IMS into the USPS system. Detached Mail Units are only established at mailing companies that have high volumes of presorted mail.
